Looking for some Spring Break fun for your kids? Send them on out to Heritage Farm Museum and Village for a Day Camp all about animals and art from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, March 24-25. There will be two camp tracks: one for children in Kindergarten- 4th grade and one for children in the 5th-8th grades.
The younger group will be doing fun things like making take-home terrariums, building pollinator habitats, exploring the creeks and nature trails, learning how to make paper, and learning to weave.
The older camp will be learning how to conduct a few different types of scientific studies, such as a water quality survey, a biodiversity survey, and an animal behavior survey. They will also get to learn how to make their own paper and make baskets
and wood work.
Cost is $50/child ($45 for passholders).
