Ever want to be a commercial brewer but can’t afford to get the training? You can now and even take a new two year program for free (if you qualify).

Did you know that you know that Bridge Valley Community and Technical College in Charleston is now offering a two-year Brew Tech program?

Michael Parsons ([email protected]) will be teaching the program which will cover everything from the chemistry of beer, brewery and distillery environmental sustainability to marketing, sales, management, business communication and ethics. This is the state’s second craft beer certificate program as WVU launched a three-course program in fall of 2015. 

Get Your Degree For Free! Really! 

Interestingly, West Virginia residents can take the course for free (if they qualify) as part of the new West Virginia Invest program passed by the WV Legislature in 2019 to give WV residents two free years of community college in a number of fields at community colleges around the Mountain State/.
